I am starting to list more on ebay and I was just wondering how you all go about doing your listings. Do you use auctiva? It seems to take me forever just to make one listing and I want to find a quicker way to list. could anyone let me know what you do? or any suggestions?
thanks! :)

Im listing lots of different items. Have any of you tried the turbo lister thing from ebay?
I am aiming to do this more of a full time thing but I want a way to make it quicker to list. Like so I don't have to copy and paste all my payment info stuff.

I use turbo lister, but it sounds to me like you have not made up templates. If you make templates, which will have all the stuff which goes into each listing...then you can just use the template to create a new item from and it will save you having to cut and paste stuff!!! (Like payments info etc).
I have made up templates according to weight of items, ie under 250 grms, 250-500, 500-750 etc...and filled the postage in for those where it goes. So now I just weigh an item, and then pick up the correct weight 'template' and list away - its quite quick that way..enjoy

By accident I ran into a posting for Turbo Lister and since it was free, I thought I'd try it. It can be GREAT! It can also be a headache if there's a sudden glitch. You have to remember that it's in BETA testing ....
You can cut and paste information into it--you can click on description booster and have everything written in HTML code--worth it right there for me! You can copy an auction. You DO have to know your categories...
It's GREAT to work off line and upload ALL your auctions at once or one at a time every minute or so.
If you do run into trouble, (and I have only once in the last three months) you can go to the boards (see link below) for help.
I have found that it helps to create different files for items and limiting the number of auctions in each file to about 25.
Good luck!

It depends on what you are listing. If you are listing books, then use the ISBN to list and all the work is done for you. But other things you can type out all of the info on Word and then just cut and paste it onto Ebay when you need to. I find this makes it so much quicker.

I use Turbo Lister. It streamlines everything. It can be a little quirky at times, but it really saves me a lot of time. Especially if you sell some of the same items over and over. There are other programs, but I haven't really checked them out. Don't feel the need to yet. Maybe if I was selling more often and at larger volumes. But for the meantime, TL works quite well.

I know html, so I usually just make my own template on my computer. Then it's just a matter of copy-and-paste. :-)
