I used to talk to Larry Walker a lot when he played for the Burlington Bees minor league team. I never had the money to get into the game so I would watch through a hole in the wall right between the bullpen and the dugout. One day he asked if I wanted to come in. I told him I had no money and he went and got me a ticket , good seat too. He was a really nice guy.

I don't personally know a major league player but have a friend whose cousin used to be in major league baseball on the Texas team. I also currently personally know a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders, she used to work here for me.

I met Dizzie Dean when I was a child. He had a home in Wiggins, Mississippi where my grandparents lived. He was very generous, always giving to the community, and even left his home to the Baptist Convention to be made into an orphanage - it is still in operation.

I personally know mark buehrle. he went to the same college that i went to. Jefferson College, in hillsboro mo. I actually got to interview him for our newspaper on campus, "the harbinger"
