I love most all kinds of music, but "I was country before country was cool'! My family is from Tennessee and Virginia, the birthplace of country music. I grew up on Porter Wagoner, Marty Robbins, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Hank Snow and The Carter Family. My mom played piano and sang, and my daddy sang, and played guitar, mandolin and fiddle It's a shame I didn't inherit any of their talent! Nice website, by the way!

I just love Counrty. I have listened to it my whole life and it was tough listening to it as a kid in NY. I was teased but I have stuck with it. The 70's had some of the best songs and artists. It was more countryish, but today's music has touching lyrics that can break your heart. So yeah, I love Country Music.

~i like some country music. my all time favorite group is called blackhawk. ever hear of them, their music is awesome! even after one of the group died they still came out with a few good songs, but its not the same since he passed.~
