I asked this earlier and am looking for more answers.My husband and I have been TTC and this morning my period is due. I took a test this AM (first responce) and there was a VERY FAINT 2nd line. Basically if you were to see it sitting on a counter, you couldn't see the line, but if you picked it up and looked, you could see it. My husband also saw it so I know it wasn't just my imagination. What I am asking is, has this ever happened to anyone then come to find out you were/were not pregnant? Yes, I will be taking another one if I don't start in a couple days

When I took my first pregnancy test you had to squint to see the 2nd line. Any line, no matter how faint, is a positive result. It means you are reall;y early in your pregnancy. Take another test in a couple of days and the line will be darker. I took 6 alltogether and the line got a little darker each day.

My first pregnancy with my son that very same thing happened. It was almost a joke, because the first two tests the line was so faint that we had all kinds of people looking at it to figure out if it was really a line or not (we had been trying for over 2 years and were a bit anxious). Turned out it was definitely a line. The doctor said the lines cannot come out on the test if they don't pick up HCG. So, unless you are taking fertility shots which can set the test positive inaccurately, you are probably pregnant. Good luck!

A faint 2nd line is usually a +. Wait a few more days and try another test, or call your doctor for a blood test. Good luck.

Happened to me also with my first born. I didn't think it was right and my husband made me take another. Same thing. The dr told us the chances of a false positive are slim to none. There may be a false negative thought. In your case, I'd say you're pregnant! Congrats!

Hi same thing happened to me. Turns out I was pregnant. The Dr. said a line is a line. I say congrats but I would go to the Dr. just to be sure.

Hi same thing happened to me yes your pregnant (congrats) it is only faint because you hgg level is very low which means are only 4-5 weeks

I would say CONGRATS! I took the SAME KIND and it done me the SAME WAY! I found out when I was ONLY 2 WEEKS preg. by that test! I swear by it! It told me I was twice and both times I WAS!

yes it happens every time if you were not preg it wouldnt appear nothing at all not even a faint line but the point that you are very much preg girl...and it happen to me too.....

The instructions say thateven if the line is faint its a positive.

THats how it was for me so i didnt think i was preg. but sure enough i was like a month preg. then and now i have a 3 month old son so Good Luck!
