Oh my gosh (OMG), I can't tell you how true that is! Stats don't lie! I've been to all the provices and I've learned my lesson. If you're going to Edmonton you better have some good insurance and a reliable air bag!

A college prof, who taught all over the world, once told me that the drivers in Edmonton were worse than NYC drivers. Being raised here, I don't find it too bad, but like any city there are agressive drivers. Statistically, Edmonton has some of the worst drivers, but I was SCARED driving in Montreal. Some of those drivers are nuts.

Miro: rofl! So true! Plus people tend to get a bit nutty when it's 35 degrees (celcius) and there's construction at every corner. Yellowhead's pretty bad sometimes.

I have lived in Edmonton all my life and seriously, the drivers are horrible BUT the road congestion is much better than in busier cities so you can still manage to drive without having too many heart attacks.
Seriously Edmonton drivers what is your PROBLEM! tailgating, not letting people in on groat road, gunning it on the whitemud to get 2 car lengths ahead, AAARRRGGG!!!!

i say b.c. is the worst and sometimes quebec and ontario.

there. now we've covered canada. :)

anyways, i say b.c. cause im from ontario and I drove across canada to get to b.c., and the FIRST thing i noticed, even before the beauty of the province was the irrate drivers. they were HORRRIBLE.

they say that many immigrants at the time had fake drivers licenses.. but i try not to buy into that kind of bias.

they were all equally bad drivers. :)

ontario is bad too these days, though.. knowing from experience.

Robby Gordon in 36 races had an avg fin of 29th Joe Nemechek in 32 races had an avg fin of 33.7 Kyle Petty in 15 races had an avg fin of 34.8 Dario Franchitti in 10 races had an avg fin or 34.3 so can decide which ran the worst.

I'd believe it - I live in Edmonton, and have been terrified to cross at crosswalks, even pushing my big red stroller, I've been nearly hit, honked at, even yelled at in spite of having right of way - they give licences out in cracker-jack boxes, I swear!
