Follow some of the answers given if you must, but honestly be true to your self & remain as white as snow. Be proud of how you look, cause white isn't a bad thing.

I know those self tanners work wonders, but your skin is the largest organ you have and it's porous. Do you really want to put something all over your skin without knowing the long term effects of the chemicals used to make the self tanners?

Use a self-tanner! Never lay out or go to a tanning bed--over time, your skin will wrinkle and age much faster because of all of that exposure to the sun. Be sure to wear sunscreen everyday.

Keep exposure very brief the first few times out in the sun, say 20 minutes to a half hour. This will allow your skin to build up a base of melatonin, which is the pigment necessary to prevent burns and tan your skin. Always use sunscreen to prevent UVB rays which are the nasty ones that burn. Sunglasses and a hat are musts!

Mystic tan is the best! They have 3 different levels, so start out on #1 and increase to #3. It looks really natural if you do it correctly, and you can't get cancer. During the summer, I visit the tanning bed daily ( I know its bad) and jump in Mystic once every other week. Its a great way to stay tan year long!

self tanners are the only way to go. You may be young now but in the future your face will show if you have been frying it in the sun, trust me I know I am fair haired and fair skinned- stay pale :)

One of those spray on tanning booths or buy over the counter self tanners. Don't go in the sun or tanning bed, you'll just burn.

Not really self tanners, but i do use a bronzing lotion that gradually darkens your skin like a tanner but without the orange. It leaves a nice glow. Its from Avon.
