No, he only encouraged it. Faux news and other media outlets encouraged it more, but the ability to hate it was already there. There has always been an us/them mentality. In WW II it was the Nazis and Japanese, in the Cold War is was the communists, now its the Arabs.

actually, the US has a good relationship politically with arabs. Your question, I believe, is whether gb made america hate muslims. The US has long misunderstood islam. There are some backwards practices of islam, just as there are backwards practices of western religions. The admininstration has, however, established a widespread perception that islam = evil, which is not the case. People tend to hate what they don't understand, and america vs islamic nations is no different. The policies of the bush administration have, unfortunately, alienated the two cultures further from where they previously were.

I'm a Palestinian catholic living in Lebanon..I'm really not a big "FAN" of the USA.. but maybe that's because of the president George W. BUSH...Why is that? Believe me guys that the greatest crime since world war II has been the US foreign policy especially since the 90's..That man (Bush) makes wars, kills innocent people (mostly kids) and then says:"when we're talking about wars, we're really meaning peace" .. How's that?? So am I supposed to answer if president Bush makes America hate Arabs? maybe.. but i can assure you all that he's making Arabs (especially the muslims) hate america cause of his policy..

Americans have had a pretty negative impression of the Middle East since at least 1979. So no, I think this is one problem that isn't Bush's fault.
Now, has Bush made Arabs hate America? That's another matter...

Do you hate Arabs? I don't. I hate what the terrorists are doing ... regardless of what country they come from. George Bush may be a powerful man, but he can't make you or anyone hate others. I don't believe he hates Arabs either. Each of us chooses whether or not we will allow ourselves to be influenced by the views of others and become hateful bigots.

That's a complicated question. No one can make another person hate. The tension between the "Christian" and "Islamic" world goes back much further than 9/11. However, George Bush wouldn't be the first political or religious leader in history to fuel pre-existing fears and prejudices to manipulate the masses. How and if he did so, I'd prefer not to involve myself in that. If you're a thinking, rational person, you should examine the facts (from outside sources if possible) and draw your own conclusions.

NO. Radical Terrorists have done enough of getting people to hate them.
George Bush has done a great job as a Leader during a troubled time. Actually it saddens me to see how the media has treated not only President Bush, but the legacy of the many Americans who have lost their lives fighting for freedom.
If there is any blame to go around, then perhaps we should look to the radicals who have started this.
Sadam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden...let's not forget that terrorist that died over in Israel.

No, it is not George Bush's fault that Americans hate arabs. And no, not all Americans hate Arabs, it is those American's fault that they hate Arabs. They made up their own minds about it. You can't blame all our problems on one person, that's just ridiculous.
