1 acre = 43,560 sqft
1 side = sqrt (43,560) = 208.7 ft
perimeter = 4*side = 834.84 ft

If you mean the perimeter of 1 acre:
1 acre = 43,56 sqft
perimeter = 4 * SQRT(43,56) = 834.84 ft
If you mean the perimeter of 1 square acre, you talk about something 4-dimensional. I'm not smart enough to calculate the linear perimeter of something 4-dimensional.

Not sure what you mean by 1 square acre.
The original design for an acre was a chain (22 yards) by a furlong (220 yards), something to do with ploughing. 22*220 = 4840 square yards = 43560 square feet. The perimeter of that would be 22+220+22+220 = 484 yards = 1452 feet.
That would be 10 squares lined up side-by-side!

834.84 feet
How to figure it? Well, an acre is 43,500 square feet. Take the square root of that and you'll get 208.71 for each side of the square. Then, multiply by 4 to get the perimeter.

1 mi = 5280 ft
1 sq mi = 27878400 sq ft
1 sq mi = 640 acres
1 acre = 43560 sq ft
A square acre has length = width = sqrt (43560) 208.71 ft
Perimeter = 4 sqrt (43560) = 834.84 ft
