I think that Cindy Sheehan is a grieving mother who feels that her current path will somehow make her pain go away. I also think that her fixation may also be a sign of depression. It is horrible that she lost her son but as we all know our military is made up of VOLUNTEERS. Every person who puts on a military uniform knows that they have a target on them and that they could die. They believe that they are doing the right thing for their nation.
The "Jersey Girls" are grieving widows who want to make sure that the horrors of September 11th don't happen again. They are asking for change in the policies and procedures in the Government. They are exercising their Constitutional Rights as is Ms. Sheehan and Michael Moore. I may not agree with all or anything that they stand for but I am happy that we all have the freedom to voice our opinions and question our Government. This is not only our right but our duty and our privilege.

Cindy Sheehan is a mentally ill mother who is being used by a bunch of hate mongers.
Her son gave up his life so she could spew hate at our President.
She is a disgrace and I am sure her son is turning over in his grave.
Her son is a hero.

Cindy Sheehan is a mother grieving for the loss of her son who has become activated by her rage and grief to take action to try and stop an illegal war before any other mothers lose their sons and daughters.

After the pain of losing her son became manageable she probably realized that her son's life was worth way more than fodder for GWB Iraqi meat grinder. Maybe she's sickened by the fact that he lost his life fighting in a place that had little to nothing to do with 9/11 while the countries that were really responsible are called our allies, like Saudi Arabia, Yemen and almost any country that ends in "..stan" ( no Georgie, it's not Iraqistan).
speculation could go on and on but the one thing I believe is correct is that she is no one's pawn and her outrage comes from the heart.

Cindy Sheehan has been active since late 2004, and is also apart of the Impeachpac.org movement to remove the Bastard in Chief. I have no problem with her speaking her mind, and it is my honest belief that she should have the right to meet with him as many times as she wants. Regardless of who "thrust" her into the "spotlight", this is her own decision and it is her Constitutional right to ***** about the lies of this coward!

I don't know what actually happened, but I'd wager that she was approached by a radical leftist group. I used to get angry when I saw her demeaning our troops and pretty much spitting in the face of everything her son believed in, but now I feel more pity than anything else. Her words and actions are just that - pitiful.

I don't pretend to know the heart of someone who has lost a family member do to violence. I would imagine it would have some effect on the parent. I think people are scared to stand up in front of the world a voice there opinion, and she has the guts to tell you that this war is wrong not just on yahoo but all around the world. When you get the balls to do that then come back on this forum and talk shi* but until then to me you are just mad because you do have what it takes to risk everything in your life to stand up for something bigger then yourself. Judge not my friend.

Ann? Ann Coulter? How come you don't call me anymore?
My mom would have done the same thing as Ms. Sheehan.
I think the problem the extreme right has with her and the 9/11 widows isn't that "you can't respond to them" but you can't get away with the right wing character assassination strategy when your argument cannot hold up.

I guess she's to the left as the chicken-sh*t, yellow-bellied cowards that Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowicz, Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Rielly are to the right. Support other people shedding their blood in wars they support. Oh yea, George W. Bush also made sure he did not see any combat. Another great one on the right. What a bunch of conservaTURD, RepubliTARD cowards. I bet you people on the right are really proud of them all. "Bring em on" as long as someone else is going to do the fighting. COWARDS!!!!!!

I don't know her but the feeling that I get is that she thrives on the sympathy that she gets from the public especially the anti-war left. She gets pats on the back and "oohhh I'm sooo sorry for your loss" She is (in my opinion) an attention junkie
