Why be funny? Just ask her if she's seen a particular movie. If she has (and it's possible) see if she's seen another movie that's playing. When you find one she's not seen, ask her if you can take her to see it. It's just a movie, not marriage, so you can do it. Girls like guys who can be straight with them. Funny should come naturally, otherwise it can be very annoying. Just relax. And if she did see the movie, find out how she liked it. That will tip you off on what she likes, and she'll like it that you're interested enough to ask her opinion (very big stuff). If you saw the movie too, you can share your favorite parts of the movie, also helping you understand what makes her happy or not. Have fun. <*)))><

Trying to be funny or cool on a straightforward questions comes across as you not taking her very seriously or having very low self confidence. Asking a girl to the movies is as simple (although hard) as asking her to the movies. Be straightforward ask her if she would:
'like to go see a movie with you *replace with what day* or sometime'.
Plus people that answered that she may not even like movies or the movies are right, you gota know what she likes and where hse likes to go - otherwise it greatly reduces the chance she would say yes, plus if she's bored or annoyed out of her mind she's not much good to you on a date anyway.

what you should first do is try to get to know the girl a little more then you should go slow like maybe you should get someone to ask her if they like you if its a no then go ahead and ask her as a friend for example'he y do wanna go to the movies this weekend and watch a funny movie you know as friends'or if she says yes ask her then at the movies tell her your true feelings

I don't about funny ways, Mac. But here's what you should try to do- buy two tickets to the movie of your choice, in advance. Then pick the girl and say, " I have a problem, and I was wondering if you'd help me. You see, I have two tickets to see _________, but nobody to use the second one. Would you please, do me the favor, of going to the cinema with me? ". Regardless of how you get the girl's attention and word your alleged problem, that trick should work.

Find out first if she's interested in movies. What if she is not a movie person? If she is, write a poem of some sort, or read one to her, showing your interest in spending time with her in such a way. Flow with it. If she likes ice-cream, do that instead. Nothing like getting treated with what you like.

All you have to do is go up to the girl you like and say would you like to go out to the movies with me, don't worry it is that simple, or you can write a letter and send it to her to ask and she will say yes or no.

WELL, IT IS SIMPLE. ONE DAY YOU WALK UP TO HER AND START A CASUAL CONVERSATION. TALK ABOUT CELEBRITIES, POLITICS, WHAT'S GOIN ON IN THE WORLD. THEN THROW IN A COUPLE OF JOKES, TELL HER SHE IS PRETTY, BE NICE. THEN YO SLAP THE **** OUT OF HER, TELL YOU SAW IT IN A MOVIE AND INVITE HER TO SEE IT OR YOU COULD JUST ASK HER IF " SO YOU WANT TO GO TO THE MOVIES OR SOMETHING?" AND IF SHE REJECTS I WILL BE THERE TO PICK UP THE SLACK, OK HAVE A NOCE DAY.

funny style? - Get down on one knee before her, take her hand i n yours and say "(insert girl's name here)" look into her eyes, take a deep breath... say "would you do me the honor of accompanying me to the movies?" - that ought to freak her out.
