When you insult me you're only insulting yourself. I just think less of you (much less than normal benchmark standards).
And no I'm a woman thanks for asking, I pressume you're an imbecile or something of that nature?
As for the other answers thanks guys, good values and interestingly spread. It's comforting to know people with some intelligence and morals!

...that life is precious and to always cherish your friendships and family and tell them that you love them. I knew this all my life but it really came to light when my best friend was murdered.
Also - from my dad - "nothing good happens late at night" and "if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, looks like a duck, it's a duck"

with every relationship that you are in you will learn and grow, but for me, the most valuable lesson has been to always be true to myself. I have a tendency to get into relationships (friendships, romantic relationships, etc.) and want to give all of myself to the relationship. I tend to compromise my own beliefs and desires and do what I feel is right for "us" rather than what is right for "me", and in the end, I end up being unhappy and hurt. So, I have learned the hard way that no matter what, you have to be true to yourself.

Well....from me she has learned....sympathy, compassion, gentleness, responsibility, obligation, a good work ethic, a sense of fashion, to enjoy a good dinner in a fine resturant, fiscal responsibility, the importance of saving, how to have multiple orgasms.
From her, I've learned that you never ever take the last chocolate covered cherry!

that you must always love yourself no matter what shape/size/condition from people who left me for nothing. i dont mind though because if you keep looking toward the other way you'll see whats really out there. once you are alone you are bound to be surrounded again.

That the true value and beauty of a person is a measure of their character not how they look.

that love takes more than just 2, it is a lifetime(literally) of learning of how to make one happy and a lot of patience and effort.

That you cannot "fix" someone...I was married to someone who liked to smack me around - I thought I could fix him. That if I loved him enough & showed him "normal" he'd get better...I was wrong, almost dead wrong - but I survived...now, I'm on my own & happier than ever.

If you want to keep a secret, don't tell ANYONE.
I finally learned that one from friends and family.
