Be sure they are Tadpoles. You will need a net and a bucket or something. Do not put them into tap water, use some of the pond water as tap water will burn them. Remember Tadpoles DO need feeding,it might also be a good idea to place some pond weed from the pond into your bucket, depending on how many you want.

In response to mommy2savannah51405, DO NOT INTRODUCE MOSQUITOFISH. They are an insanely horrible invasive species and impossible to get rid of. To top it off, they are NOT AN EFFECTIVE MOSQUITO CONTROL AGENT. The theory was a good one, but they don't significantly impact mosquito larvae populations any more than native fish or tadpoles.

Anyway, if you buy or build a minnow trap (google it), just bait it with dry catfood and you'll get the tadpoles.

When i was little, my brother and i always caught tadpoles with a swimming pool skimmer in our creek. Just scrape the bottom of the creek, but it might be more difficult in a pond with that technique

get something like a pool skimmer and just skim the whole pond, you are bound to find some. when i was 7 i used to catch them with my hands when i went to ireland, so it cant be that hard.

use a cup, they are too small to catch with most nets, unless they are bullfrog tadpoles. use aquasafe, feed them boiled lettuce, and keep them in a small tank, and eventually, you should have little frogs!
