You need to do yoga. Gentle relaxing yoga. Take a class or get a DVD and do it every day.

Ok Breathe In... Breathe Out. I had some precancerous cells removed when I was a teen. It's nothing to it so try not to worry there. Feels a bit like cramping and then it is over. As for stress, try to take some time out for you.. whether it's just in the bath or whatever. Listen to your favorite music and soak. I like to drink a glass or two of wine or even a beer but I don't know if that would apply since I don't know your age or anything. Also, try getting kids to bed a bit earlier and put on headphones and just relax in bed or on computer. Do something to keep your mind off things. Perhaps even read a book or some DIY project. Don't watch the news or TV. Let it be peaceful for a bit. That's about all the advice I can give you. Except, I have even gone outside and sat in my car with my ipod when things have been too hectic in the house and it was overwhelming me. Seems like a few minutes of time out for me and some of my favorite music does the trick. If any of these don't help then I would try some B complex vitamins and Kava Kava or Valerian Root. Health food stores have plenty of formulas available to help with stress and nerves. Hope you get to feeling better soon (been there and it sucks).

Yoga is good but takes time to learn. Start learning yoga but for a quick fix in no time get a partner and start brisk or power walking. Walking, done with vigor soon becomes a form of meditation. You have heard of the "runner's high". Well, I'm talking about a lessor form of it. As your breathing becomes pronounced, you will notice your stress diminishes. Many business men have a mid day squash or racket game. This exercise is mostly for stress control.
Happy walking

I have high stress levels myself and people have always told me to either do yoga or exercise. In my opinion, every person has a different form of stress release. Myself -- not a yoga person. I've noticed that lifting weights/running and boxing really help my stress levels. I think it comes down to each individual person finding something that relaxes him/her -- I'm sorry if this isn't helpful and I'm not giving you a quick fix but I really don't think there is one.

I took up knitting, and it relaxes me every time I pick up a set of needles and make loops with nice, soft yarn. You don't need a big ambitious project, just something small to work on while you rock yourself and take time to relax.

of course there is always the religious route. try talking to your priest or minister etc., for some guidance. there is the medical route. psychotherapy and such. deep breathing also helps slows you down...or

try this on for size!
buy yourself a relatively inexpensive "fiber optic lights"
turn it on and tune out the whole world around you!

hope this helps you as it has helped me!
