I have a development in technology, I have a product that make wireless connectivity to security fixtures. I´m getting my patents now but I need to know how to value the price of a royalty if my client wants to produce or sell my product.

You look at how similar products your competitors are selling are being priced. Then balance what the customer is expecting in terms of up front licensing fees versus ongoing royalty fees.

You really need to hire a marketing / operations guy.

I suggest speaking to a trademark attorney to get started. Someone that specializes in trademark/patent law is going to be your best bet in respect to all details you'll want to know.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with doing some research for yourself. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* The Handbook of Business Valuation and Intellectual Property Analysis by Robert F. Reilly, Robert Schweihs
* Valuing Intangible Assets by Robert F. Reilly
