Place your resume on http://www.monster.com or http://www.hotjobs.com or http://www.careerbuilder.com (or all three!)

Look through the job listings at those sites and send employers your resume.

Talk to a staffing agency/headhunter.

Check out the local papers and call employers who have job openings that match your skills.

Network with friends or folks from church who might be able to submit your resume to the HR department at their company.

If you're in school, talk to your guidance counselor.

With a computer at home and internet connection, you can start earning from home, without any investment. You should choose your work at home job according to your skills and time available.
If you have a good typing speed, general and legal transcription jobs from companies like Mountain West, Tigerfish and Accutran are available. Some of these companies do not require any experience.
You can apply directly from their websites which are listed at

Medical transcription work at home is also available if you have completed a course and have relevant experience.

Would you send me a Thank You card?"

I would prepare a fantastic resume to go along with your applications.... they might think you are more serious about the position and it might outline your skills better :)

Good Luck my friend :)
