Today the top U.S. military commander in the Middle East has said Iraq could move towards civil war (1) and a leaked memo from Britain's top diplomat in Iraq has said civil war is the MOST LIKELY outcome (2).

Although Blair is a fool at least he urged more intensive planning for the aftermath of the Iraq war.

If you think things are bad in the Middle East now, just wait till the civil war really starts and Iraq's neighbours try to get a piece of the pie.

OIl prices, terrorism and potentially much much worse - don't think your immune from the consequences of a Middle East firestorm.

Unfortunately, every country (and most cultures) get to a point where arrogance drives decisions. We have been there since the cold war began (evidence would be the idea of forcing democracy on Iraq - isn't that undemocratic?) and we will be there for a while until we are 1) no longer the only superpower or 2) Europe and other nations give up their amoral philosophy which above all else stops them from quickly acting to resolve world problems versus just talking about them. It comes out as pro-peace. I would assert it is a lack of morality that can let the killings in the Balkans, Africa and more and only respond with conversation or toothless UN forces like we had in Lebanon.

Yes and while thay are at it, they should apolgise for motorway service stations being over priced, Christiano Ronaldo being a little winker, England only getting to the quater finals of the world cup, England being **** at rugby union and cricket, the current state of our National Health Service and transport system, (what else), the fact that my washing machine keeps going faulty.
What exactly do you want mate? Bush to go on telly and say he apologises for the whole Iraq war, then watch as he writes a cheque for £10 billion dollars compenstion and then resigns and becomes a dustmen. It won't happen. Obviously you believe that there should not have been an Iraq war. To a certain extent I do too, but whats happened has happened and apologises is not going to make everything right and some Muslim fanatic in Iraq / Lebonan/ Finsbury Park / Afganistan is not going to say, we forgive you I best start unstrapping these homemade explosives from my body and put down this anti tank rocket.
Don't tarnish all Americans with the same brush as Mr Bush. I don't like him, but I know they are alot of kind decent people in America (all of twats too, but nevermind, so has ever country)

Americans will say "What for?" or "Bahahaha" or "never".
So if we are talking about Iraq well let us be quite honest.
Pre invasion there were no terrorists in Iraq.
Saddam Hussein would never have tolerated any kind of dissident, as that would have been too dangerous for his own regime.
So the USA by going to war with Iraq has actively encourage terrorism within post war Iraq.
Every one was told that life would be better under a freely elected Democratic Government.
Better?
Pre war we had Electricity post war NONE
Pre war we had water post war NONE
Pre war we had security for work and normal every day life post war NONE.
Yes we now have freedom to elect Democratic leadership, but these gyys have to toe the USA line, so where is our freedom?
Pre war the idea of civil war was laughable, post war it is a probability.
Gee thanks America we did not know what we were missing.
I should also have included the idiot BLAIR, for all the good he does his name should be spelt BLARE.

We can start by not sending ANY & I MEAN ANY american money, goods or services to ANY nation that is hit with a natural disater or anything of the like. We can stop all humanitarian funding & aid. Believe me we have enough problems here in the states that could be addressed. Call me an arrogant American - I really don't care. We know we do more for the rest of the World and the underpriviledged than all the other countries combined. Hell the UN is worhtless unless WE make them do something.

i don't think of that america might desire to might desire to ask for forgiveness for something. If each and every guy or woman might desire to be apologizing it would be something of the international apologizing to america for being such scumbags on the subject of the warfare in Iraq and the issue in Iran. in actuality I say in case you like us to tug out of Iraq then large, i think of we'd desire to continuously, just to instruct you the way incorrect you extremely are. because of the fact whilst the terrorists start up coming when you Europeans and Asians you will all agree that america grew to become into top interior the 1st place. And in case you like Iran to have a nuclear bomb then so be it. yet whilst your those getting nuked do not come crying to america as common for help! because of the fact your on your guy or woman.

You have asked this question already. I don't understand why everyone is so shocked about civil war in Iraq isn't that what has been going on for the last three or four years?

I'm certain that the answer to that is the same one given when GWB was asked when will we leave Iraq. "that is a task for another president and administration to deal with". Since an official apology needs to come from the chief executive, it won't be in Georgie's time, he doesn't see that he's done anything wrong.

With things as they are within our government, they will not apologize. An apology would just be an admittance to the war crimes they have committed or enabled by funding. They have worked too hard through media propaganda to let the curtain get pulled back now.
