I am 4 months pregnant though!!!!! What should I do about a job position I was asked to help with and said yes, but then didn't want to. I was asked to help in an apartment complex office, and I know work outside as the cabana. Soemone was fired and they want help. They're not going to pay me any more and it would only be for the remaining time I have left anyways. And at the pool I get to relax and read and be left alone. I'm not a people person and feel it would be a waste to train only to leave in 3 weeks anyways. Plus NONE of my nice clothes fit anymore and I can't afford to spend money on clothes I will only wear for 1 month or so. I said yes to the women because I do that when I feel on the spot. What should I say now to get out of doing this and not look like a jerk????!!!!!Thanks

Tell her nicely what you've just said: that you feel its silly for her to train you just so you can leave (it would be a waste of her time), and you don't have any nice clothing & you're worried about the image it might present since you can't dress nicely. I'm sure she'll understand.

I believe you need to tell them the truth. You may not feel like a star for doing it now, but it's best. Tell them why you said 'yes', and why you have to say 'no' now. Telling the truth clarifies the situation, clears your mind, and makes it easier to communicate the next time.

Apologize to the ppl that offered the position saying that you would love to but you have put more consideration into it and the job you currently have is more suitable to you.

No, just let them know that your current job offered you a better deal (even if they didn't) and just tell a white lie or simply tell them that your no longer interested in your condition.

Just say something like "my dr thinks it's better for me, given my situation if I dont overwork" or that you may have a condition with your pg that keeps you from doing it and that you are really sorry. I dont think they are gonna argue on this.

Just tell her that you thought about it and you won't be able to take the job after all. She will have to respect that and simply find someone else.

Just say 'no'.

say 'no' once a week to get used to it to whatever you don't want to do.

never say sorry, never give a reason why. just say 'no' I've changed my mind.

vive la revolution.
