This is a web address and its asking you to log in. I looked it up on Google.
Have you joined this site? It helps you find lyrics. Is there anyone lese that uses your pc, could they have logged in?
Next, if you're going to download a security program to get rid of this thing, make sure you get a real program and not a fake one. Get it from the original website, nowhere else. If you've never heard of a program search for it on Google and look on pages 2 and 3 as well as page 1. If you see lots of forum entries saying the program is fake, don't download it.

System restore should work on this; if not post back.

adware most likely or spyware. Nothing good but can be easily got rid of.

Virus scanners tend to be poor at picking up this type of thing, which doesn't necessarily "infect" or spread itself around the way proper viruses do, but which is still an unwanted intrusion; an attempt to divert you away from what you want to do into what they want you to do.

Best way is to google the exact message you get and see what other people have done about it. There will be some simple little app or steps you can take that will fix it.

According to Google the URL goes to a site which provide Eminem Lyrics.

My guess is you tried to bookmark the page but have actually set it as your home page instead. Go to "Tools/Internet options" and click the general tab to see what page is set. If it is the URL above, then just click the Use blank Option until you find somewhere else.

If the address is not as in your question, then the advice to run SpyBot and Adware is good and I would do the same.

Good luck

It looks as though you got an email and saved a file to your desktop. When you run this file it wants you to log on. I would avoid anything like this, as it could be spyware or a virus trying to infect your computer. I searched for the site name and came up with an investment site, bit I wouldn't trust it. Just deleat the icon from your desktop.

Hmmm seems like you have some type of software/spyware that wants you to login to it's system... think about when you noticed this happening...
I would suggest doing a system restore to your computer to a day before this started popping up....
in your accessories menu, choose system options/ system restore, this will set your computer back to a certain time you pick... pick a time before this started happening... good luck

If this just recently started (and you have Windows XP) you might want to do a system restore to a previous date when you know you weren't getting this pop-up.
