Jeter is one Sexy *** mofo......and he can play too but above all hes great to watch...

He is a great player. He's never been the top SS in the game, but he has always been in the top five. He is a great hitter, but he is a little over-rated defensively. He doesn't have great range, and he certainly isn't as good at short as A-Rod was.
His career has had an awesome consistency, and he should be a Hall of Famer. I don't believe in "clutch", so I won't address that.

I hate the Yankees but jeter is so so clutch and a 1st ballot hall of fame guaranteed

Jeter is the best "Clutch" shortstop in baseball. For the Yankees to ask Alex Rodriguez to switch positions to third base meant that they thought they had the best shortstop already.

Excellent ball player. He can field, hit, and run. He plays the game hard and shows determination and leadership. He is the closest thing to the kind of spirit Pete Rose showed when he played for the Reds.

Very good player, borderline great. Also over-rated. Not as good as Yankee fans believe.
