I was cleaning today, and I picked something up to vaccuum under it when I felt a sharp pain shoot through my wrist. It immediately swelled up, but what's weird about it is one area is more swollen than the rest. If u turn your hand palm side up and on the pinky side about 3 inches from where the hand meets the wrist is more swollen than anywhere else. Is it something serious? Should I go to the ER for x-rays? The pain and swelling seems to be going further up my arm as time passes.

OMG it took forever to type this left handed only.

I've asked a couple of times but only got a couple of answers.

You should seek medical attention. It sounds like you may have actually broken your wrist. Are you a big milk drinker? I am asking because if you broke a bone this easily, you may need more calcium to help build strong bones. Let me know what happens.

I would definately see a dr. Something like a spider could have bit you they hide under stuff and were its dusty. Or you could have pulled or bruised and muscle get it checked dont wait for any more answers. Get to an ER it could be nothing but it could be something especialy if it stil sweeling up get some ice on it and go girl. You could have damaged something th longer you wait the more damage can occure. If you ever have medical ?s dont waste time waiting for answers call these free number 1-800-888-5551 its ask a nurse and they can help you you can call 24 hours a day.

GO TO A HOSPITAL. NOW.

There are eigth wrist bones in your wrist, by lifting something heavy, you could've shifted them and impeded blood flow in your arm. It could be very serious.
