I never really knew Americans hated Canada. What do you base this question on? The countries have open borders and thousands of Americans go into Canada each day to enjoy themselves in that country and visa-versa. Now maybe you are refering to some conservatives who complain about everyone and everything on the radio and TV. They are a small part of the US, just as I'm sure there are people in Canada that don't like the US but they don't make up anywhere near the majority. I believe most Americans like Canada.

I don't believe we in the U.S. hate Canada at all. As a matter of fact they are one of our best friends and an ally. I have been to Canada many times,and lived with 2 friends from Toronto in Florida,2 of the nicest,best people I have ever known. I like Canada and Canadians, except for some of the left-wing media,which we have here,you're OK with me.

Tell us why you think U.S. hate Canada? What bad things did U.S. say about Canada? Them maybe we can tell you why U.S. hates Canada.

Honestly, I was not aware that we did. I live about 3 hours from my neighbors to the North and have visited every year for the past several. The only Canadians I've found not to be likable are the French-Canadians. Living south of BC though, I don't run into them much.

Most Americans don't hate Canada, but you have idiots in both countries that always seem to show up on a Yahoo site and spew **** back and forth just to stir things up.

I don't know where you got the idea that the U.S. hates Canada....sure there were a few Canadian Liberal politicans that were American bashers, and the U.S. media (Fox) didn't like that, but we (thank God) got rid of them in Jan/06.
