Sike... is it weird that I never find people ugly? My friends are like "This person is ugly" and I'm always defending them. It's not a bad thing, though.. I just wonder what they're seeing sometimes....

It's human nature to seek and destroy what doesn't meet our standards, even if it means being cruel to others. If God wanted us to be the same, he would have made us all same weight, height, color, gender... etc. But he wanted to give us choices so we had variety. Is stupid society what has ruined it for the rest of us. Perfect? : Blond, long legs, big breasts, light eyes, thin and toned, AND white! Oh, and flat butt. Whatever doesn't meet those standards is ugly or invisible... COME ON!!!
I bet God rolls his eyes at our utter stupidity.

There are no ugly people in this world. Just ones with no heart, and your friends seem to be those people. A person who judges another person's outward appearance is uncomfortable with themselves and hope to make themselves look good by calling someone ugly.
And it's not weird that you never find people ugly.

Many people have pleasant features but are ugly inside in their hearts. Then there are people that don't have exactly the look that is popular but have wonderful personalities. Facial features are not a good way to judge a person.

Maybe your friends self esteem is so low that the only way they can build it up is to knock other people down.
Outer appearance is not what matters it is what is on the inside that counts.
Having said that the person that does not practice good hygiene and stinks and has rotten teeth now there is no excuse for that.

i kinda see it as everyone is good lookin' and everyone is ugly at the same time. My boyfriend looks at me in awe, and constantly tells me that i'm beautiful and hot. I'm sure others see me and think, "aww...that's sad!" lol. Just like we may look at someone and think, nah, i'd never go out with him...he's ugly or whatever, but someone else is doing their damndest to get with them. Do i make any sense?

People are very rude that say others are ugly. Usually a person that says that is jealous.

When I hear of someone being "ugly" I always think they are just mean or nasty. My Mama used to say to me when I was a kid, "now don't be ugly." Haven't you heard this? I even tell this to my girls, "don't be ugly, be a sweet girl."
