The autonomic nervous system controls the body's involuntary muscles, including the digestive tract, heart, and bladder muscles. It also regulates your body's temperature control, making you sweat to cool off and shiver to warm up.

During urination, the autonomic system can get overstimulated. "In addition to the messages the system is sending to your bladder, it may also communicate with other areas,"

So you have nothing to worry about, it's normal. Some people have shivers, while other don't

Probably something to do with the temperature of your pee and and temperature of the room... I don't know which one is colder but it makes one shiver.. Wear warmer clothing when you go to the bathroom or try warming up the temperature in the bathroom.. or something like that...

Um OK i don't know and i don't think that is something you should tell people hm mm maybe you don't wipe after you pee and then the pee gets cold??? iono I'm a guy so um yeah maybe that is your orgasm or something

I asked my Dr. that same question. He told me it is because the Bladder contracts to release urine. The shivering is the bladder recovering from that contraction.

I do not know. Men sometimes do the same but it has nothing to do with cold.Maybe it is relief from holding on to long.

lol! that happens to a lot of people, it has something to do with the temperature of the room or maybe the toilet is cold, don't worry there's nothing wrong with you.

I don't know. My kids did that but they were in diapers at the time. I hope someone knows because I've always wondered that.
