I have been having period pains for a week now. I feel like I am just about to start, but I haven't yet. I usually start a couple of days after pain. Why is this happening?
also, I don't want to start for the next couple of days, is there any way i can try and stop it?- im going away for the weekend.

i have the same kind of thing every month before my period. It's not crippling pain, but kind of an ache? I don't think there's anything wrong with u, it's just ur body preparing u i guess. i find that if i've been eating healthily a few weeks before my period, like fewer carbs and more salads and vegetables, that i don't get these "warning" pains as much as when i've been eating junk food all month. Same with regular period cramps; if my diet's been good, they're not as painful as usual
the reason for the delay could be anything, not necessarily pregnancy! sometimes i'm late by a few days. it could be diet or that u've been unwell, or even stress i think can affect ur period

Hi! Just read about your problem and I HAVE BEEN IN A SIMILAR SITUATION MYSELF so your not alone. You didn't state your age so that could be contributing factor, also, are you on the pill? As this can sometimes make your periods irregular, especially if you have forgotten to take them. I do that all the time, which can be worrying when your in a sexual relationship. If your not on the pill, I recommend that you do as this will give you a lighter and more regular period. LET me know...

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/fWRys
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

you can stop with the pill. you should go on the pill its not just for contraception, it helps with your periods , making them lighter, not as painful more regular and less time on them. if you were usually on your period for 7 days, for example, it could be redused to about 4. it worked for me. if you went to the docs today and got the pill and took it today, it wouldnt work till about sunday till it starts working in your system.
I stopped taking the pill last friday and leave it a week. i came on on sunday, then finished on wed. i take my pill today. if you need to ask anything else about it dont hesitate to contact me hope it helps! x :)
