Is it a rumor that in Pirates of the carribian 3 Jack Sparrow dies?

in the second one, but their making the 3rd pirates right now and The plot of that one is finding him and bringing him back...that's gonna be a GOOD movie!

You know i've heard that from a couple people, but as far as i'm concerned...it's still just a rumor.
I don't think that they would end the Pirates trilogy with the death of Sparrow.
I think it'll be more of a victorious sort of ending. Like the ending of Curse of the Black Pearl where Jack is sailing away triumphently on his ship.
You have to remember...this IS a DISNEY movie.
Now i'm not labeling them or anything...but their movies tend to lean more towards the "happy" ending, and in the case...a "triumphant ending." Cause after all, this was aimed at being more of a children's movie in the first place. (But I think it's not at all. haha)
But what do I know? Anything could happen.
So there's my 2 cents.

It is also rumored that he dies in the upcoming PotC videogame "Legend of Jack Sparrow"

No. Confirmed by Movies.com, Jack Sparrow DOES die in PotC 3.

So far as his friends know he dies in the second one. Whether or not he is actually dead remains to be seen, but the whole premise of the third installment is to find him and rescue him, whether he is dead or not.
Being that it is in fact a Disney movie, and he is one of the three main characters, likely he will not die in the end.

damn... I just went to see that and I forgot... j/k truthfully I don't want to ruin it for you. I'll let someone else do that. So at the expense of 10 points I can't answer your question thoroughly (as much as I'd like to). All I can say is it's a great movie.

I dont know I haven't heard of that one i mean he died in the second one but there gonna bring him back to life in the third one so all i can think of is why would they bring him back to life in the third one only to kill him off again, it all seems rather pointless

Maybe that will be the end of the sequels. I wasn't crazy about the first one and for them to make 2 more doesn't make sense to me.
