If one-sided, how?

Of course it was one-sided, i didnt see the show, but i checked out the website on it. People like her will never understand the impact the wage increase would have on those of us in the middle. Why doesnt she take some of her Billion dollars and buy some houses for those poor people. Nope, just another crazy liberal wanting to steal from the poor and give to the poorer.

Didn't see it, but here are the questions I'd like answered: 1) Why do some people feel it is within the government's power to regulate wages amonge private businesses? 2) What job skills do people making minimum wage have and what should be the correlation between desirable job skills and wages? 3) Why do the bad choices that other people make have to affect me and the taxes that I pay? Did Oprah ask any of those questions? I don't think so.

Did she address both sides of the issue evenly?

I don't watch Oprah, but if she did this, it would be an all time first for her...

Any particular reason why she should start being fair and balanced NOW?

Who cares what Oprah has to say? She is an entertainer not a lawmaker. Nothing she says or does will make a difference. Try reading the newspaper on the issue or checking the position your local politicians who vote on the law have.

Anyone who has that much influence should be taken seriously. She may be a entertainer today but so was Ronald Reagan. Watch out for Oprah she could be running this country one day.

If your boss pays you minimum wage what he or she is really saying is "If I could pay you less I would"

All she showed was how hard it was for people with 6 kids to live off Min. Wage. She did not show anybody oppossed to it or raising it. that it is pretty one sided to me. Sounds like our typical media coverage.

I think there is Only One Side.
Minimum wage even, working full time, still falls below poverty level!!!!!!!!!

Your question poses most of America's problem, shut off Okrah and turn on C-Span.
