the new green day is just like everyone else but their starter stuff was good and they are not the only band i like... i love all of Alice in chains, depshe mode,music from their time but i'm not stuck in that time era!!! it's not like you can't like a little of every thing!

Greenday is annoying and they are being dominted by teenies like you who only care for the looks less than the music... Omg Billie joe is lyke so hawt!!! Get a life. Wow you manged to name some bands people have heard of.. wow i applaud you... idiot.. just because you know some alternative bands that others may not know does not make you any special. so what if you nade some bands people dont know? you are still a shallow *** wipe taht derserves to be slapped and shot in the face repeatedly in that order.

If you're a scene freak, then it would help to understand the development of the scene- Billie Joe stands on the shoulders of giants, and then exploits the view. For starters, he's musically in debt to Elvis Costello and he doesn't try to make a secret of this.

Green Day used to be cool back in the 90s; now they are just old, and are constanly pulling out more of a kid audience than a teenager one.
I would know; because i sold shirts at a store with green day and only kids would buy them, that tells you a lot about a band.
They sound so mainstream now; and should i say "untalented".
