Negetive feedback loops are self-correcting systems, so basically, the lining of the walls of the uterus, the disposal of this lining, and then the subsiquent downtime represent the loop. It is negetive feedback because without fertilization, the system automatically readjusts for another possibilty of pregnancy.

It's a strange example, but it works.

More hurricanes would be a negative feedback. Hurricanes reflect an enormous amount of the Sun's energy and the very high and warm clouds radiate a large amount of energy into space. Water vapor and methane from warm tundra are positive feedbacks. Methane ends ice ages and the reason why temperatures started to drop centuries before CO2 concentrations peaked is because the additional CO2 in that ere was due to the oxidation of methane, a more potent greenhouse gas.

LOL! Okay, if you're serious...The menstrual cycle means the egg was not fertilized and the lining of the uterus is shed.

lol. if the female menstruates, its negative feed back on the sexual act in that she has not become pregnant... so positive feed back would be input - sperm, process - fertilisation output baby. lol
