Goodfellas cos it's fast and funky.. And Ray Liotta,Rob De Niro and Joe Pesci play their parts superbly..

I bought The Godfather on vhs today for 50p (!) at the cash generator. Excellent value.
One of my favourite films is Goodfellas.
I reccomend every one visit a cashy store and rummage through. I've bought quite a few tapes, all good films (original Star Wars Triology, Alien Quadriology, Gladiator, Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, Perfect Storm, classics like The Terminator, Die Hard Triology, American Werewolf In London, Snatch, Heat, Casino, Pulp Fiction, Matrix etc); and recent ones too. The VCR isn't dead yet.
And shockingly, DVD discs have a life span of 5 to 10 years at most, especially if they are kept away from moderate heat! The DVD+/- R/RW's last even less.

I think all 3 Godfather films are great and if you enjoy reading, then read the book, one of the best books I've ever read by Mario Puzo, the book covers Godfather 1 &11 but I have never seen or heard of a book Godfather 3.

I like The Godfather a lot too. Have seen it many times, as I enjoy watching it. Another one is "Once Upon A Time In America".Similar plot only Jewish community instead of Italian...DiNero film....great acting and holds your interest like The Godfather does......

Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Too much to describe in this box, but it's got everything I look for in a great epic. My favorite reasons for liking it is: the writing, the acting, the theme music, special effects, and how good will triumph over evil when it looks hopeless.

I agree modern films are so boring. Thats why i go for the oldies.
I liked most of the Cowboy movies by Terence Hill and Bud Spencer like "They call me trinity".

"Aliens"..I absolutely love this film!! The whole film is intense and the actors are brilliant (especially Sigourney Weaver and Bill Paxton).

Grand Prix- drama, action, music, good stuff. They don't put this much effort into films these days, or do they have as good of actors anymore.
