They don't, they're just lazy, and don't actually want to take the time to think of an appropriate way to help you. People use "platitudes" like that, because it's easy and requires no thought whatsoever.

It's like the people who have never lost a loved one or a pet, and they comfort you when you're greiving with... "Oh, I know..." or "They are in a better place..." and they just don't have a clue how stupid they sound, and how that can actually hurt your feelings!

*whew* I needed that rant. Thanks.

i know... i always like to expect the worst case scenario but instead i come off as negative. i just want to be prepared... so many times i have shrugged it off because people told me that or they told me not to worry about anything -- but then it happens. i am very much tempted to blame them for it -- but of course they don't want to take responsibility for it. they're just a bunch of low-lifes who likes to say stuff that they don't really mean

Yes because I'm usually quite happy and just relaxed, they say that, and I start to get self conscious of what my face is doing because I must look miserable but really its just me, relaxed.

I hate it too, they simply don't understand that fate doesn't make things easily for those whom have a life of constantly being doomed!

Worrying is like rocking in a rocking chair-it gives you something to do,but you don't get anywhere.
