I do not think that we can evolve any more. Evolution is the survival of the fittest, IE an animal that has a mutation that enables it to live longer will be able to reproduce more, whereas the other animals will die off, possibly before they can reproduce. This mutation is then passed along the generations until all of that species have the mutation and are therefore more likely to survive than their ancestors.
However, in our modern world there are so many medicines that "survival of the fittest" does not work because all the weak people are kept alive and are just as able to pass on their genes to their offspring as the strong people are.
So, if we are going to evolve at all, I predict we will become a much more varied species, but with all the same skin colour.

We won't evolve into anything, primarily because we never evolved FROM anything in the first place (although we have altered in shape, size and strength since the first human was created, but that's another discussion).
No, what will happen is eventually we will all die, everything you see will be wiped out and then we will be raised for judgment. Then we will be split into groups, those going to paradise and those going to hell.
Before all that though, humans will only deteriorate until they are the worst of creatures, killing will increase and "natural disasters" will be frequent. Plus time will be even more compressed.
Yeah, it doesn't look good.

Evolution is the act of a species adapting to the world around it. As humans, we have learned to adapt the world itself and therefore build tools to achieve our goals. There are no other animals on earth that do this in anything other than the simplest ways. We have no need to evolve physically anymore as anything that threatens our existance will either kill us off or we will find a way of defending ourselves against it. Whether that be with medicine, weaponry or shouting at it very loud.

Evolution is a misunderstood and unproven theory. Look into the fossil record and you will find animals as complex as reptiles from hundreds of millions of years ago that are unchanged today.

What happens is random, accidental, natural mutation, followed by survival (by luck), followed by breeding true and again survival by a combination of luck and natural selection: the result a new species, sometimes superior, sometimes inferior to the ancestor.

Any specific answer to this question will be based on the level of knowledge, personal beliefs or religious persuasion of the individual concerned.

Books!

Read Peter F Hamilton's Nights Dawn Trilogy, six thousand pages of tiny print might give you a clue. Plus its a great saga, that I've read it three times and some of his other stuff.
Or perhaps Ian M. Banks would be easier, but not as rewarding.

I think we'll 'evolve' to a single race, that's if we've not wiped ourselves away.

i think it's inevitable that a large percentage of human race will be eradicated in the next century or two,due to war, famine, global warming,de-forestation,disease.... i believe we wont evolve at all.the only changes will be socially and economically.

I think our souls never die. I believe that when we pass from this physical realm into the next, the spiritual realm we just become one again with our source (GOD). We are just energy, and since everything is energy that would include god to. And Energy wave, or light if you prefer never end....
