we tend to mature over the years in the way we think...or the last words we said to someone before they passed away, may not have been as pleasant as we would have liked..or said what we really felt in our hearts.

My dad passed away in May. He had cancer for two years and it eventually took his life.

I would like one more chance to tell him how proud I am of him and our family.

He was a blue collar man working construction all his life and raised 8 children.

Through all the hardship, he stood tall for his family and worked hard all his life.

He was an honest man and everyone who knew him never had a harsh word to say about him. He would do anything to help a neighbor or even a stranger and would give someone the shirt off his back if they asked.

I am so proud to be his daughter and I hope I make him proud.

I would talk to my father and thank him for everything he had done to take care of me. Then I would tell him about his grandchildren and what they have accomplished in their lives and I would tell him about the 3 grandchild that were born after he passed away. I know he would be proud of them just like he was proud of the 5 he already had. And I would tell him I know he said he always wanted to live long enough to see his grandchildren walk down the aisle. I'd tell him one got married and she made sure he was there in her own way, she set out a picture of him.

I would tell my brother how much he meant to me and how much I loved him. I would also tell him how sorry I am for the times I took him for granted or mistreated him in any way. He was my best friend and he knew I loved him very much but I wish I had one more chance to tell him. By the way- good question.

I would have told him how much of a great person he was, and how much I admired his friendship. I would also have told him how happy he made me, how he cheered me up when everything sucked.

He told me he was going to die, and I did not want to believe him....I guess he really did know. I miss you Bob.

If there is one thing I know that's important in life is to always make sure my loved ones know how much I love them. Actions speak louder than words, show people how much they mean to you everyday, becouse you truley dont know what life will bring.

I would tell my grandfather that I am happy now, and that I drink skim milk, and that I don't sit too close to the TV. And that I miss him terribly.
