what is the average price of jeans and shirts from kohls or jcpenney versus abercrombie or american eagle?

Yo can get pretty cool jeans with a belt and designs in Kohls and JCPenny for $30 bucks, if you get them on a big sale, less. Acrocomie and such stores, you are looking at about double the price. Sure they look nice, but for half the price, the others are pretty cool too.!!

Shirts from American Eagle range in price from $10 or less to $20, depending on whether or not you buy them on clearance. Jeans go up to $40 or more. Abercrombie is about the same price. Not sure about Kohl's. Hope that helped a little!

Kohl's reg price is probably pretty close to Abercrombie & AE, but they almost always have a huge selection of in-season clothing on sale for 40-50% off or BOGO. Plus, several times a year, they have 15% off on top of that if you use you Kohl's charge.

You'll save, for sure... I suppose it's about the 'fit' of the jeans. I bought mine from express for 20 bucks actually. I look for sales. Persoanally, i'm sick of Kohls, but that's b/c I worked there for 4 years while in college. Good store though.

American Eagle and Abercrombie are so much more expensive and ridiculously over-priced.

similar prices on many items, most are less expensive. kohl's and penney's do sell excellent quality and very stylish brand name clothes even though they're not abercrombie or ae.
