I am currently swerving between these two personality traits like mel gibson on the highway, which should I choose as the dominant?

Please note that i'd like to be a writer one day so sitting up till dawn sipping Jack Daniels might work better if I'm bitter.

Neither. If you lack the creativity to come up with better choices than bitterness vs. irrelevance how will you ever write anything worth reading?

Bitterness usually comes back to bite you in the rear end. I'd try to come up with something else. A sense of humor usually goes a long way..... Skewering with words can be quite satisfying.

well, i don't dig reading the diatribes of the bitter, so i would nix that. i wonder though - do you want to be irreverant - or irrevelant. I find the irrelevant, irrelevant, frankly - - but i do so seriously love a bad boy, so i would say, irreverant! go for it, ala fear & loathing in las vegas!
