Yes. I've known kids in grade 4 who have hairy armpits. What might make sense for you is to find another adult who you can trust to talk to about these questions. Teachers (I know it's summer) are a good source of information. I get asked questions like that all the time. My mom's bipolar too (so I understand what you're going through), so either find good internet sites to help you (www.sexualityandu.ca, for example) or a good book that can answer your questions, or find another adult to talk to.

If I remember right, I had hair 1-2 years before I got my period. I t wasn't much but it was there. The thing is, you are in puberty. So you should be getting your period fairly soon. How old are you anyway?

nothing wrong with you at all. Pubic hair begins to grow immediately, it simply chooses it's own time to darken and thicken as you age. Often, being sexually active will cause pubic hair to darken and thicken, but it is still a completely natural thing.

That's completely normal. You should begin following up with an OB/Gyn if you are concerned.

yes, this is just a simple way that your body is reacting to hormones taking place in your body. Don't worry, you are absolutely normal.

That's "bipolar" and your pubic hair and your period won't necessarly start at the same time. Don't worry...I'd MUCH rather have the hair first, not the period.
