Ok my friends have a really great band and i was just wondering how would i let the world know that they're out there? See we don't live in Cali or New York we live in kansas and it's fairly hard as it is....soooo any ideas??

ok well they have a myspace it's myspace.com/ragingbandofgod or something like that....and mypace.com/abandonkansas....soooo they just have to add as many people as they can??

Create a Myspace account with the name of your band. Then send requests asking to be on peope's friend list. After you've established this, you can send out invites to people in your area to come and see you band play.
A lot of people are eager to support live/local music.

go to PureVolume.com, make an account, upload music.
also on Myspace, make some banners and post a bulletin/blog with the codes so people who are already their friends can repost it to spread the word, and they'll get more friend requests.
You can help by posting on forums, blogs, or comments with your myspace account with a link to their site.

make an account on myspace for music and then just try and premota on the website by getting friends

i would say put them on any music site or any site that you can put them on. i say myspace and purevolume are probably two good sites to be on. put their music (and videos if possible) ya know so they can get heard.
