I love Tim Burton movies - the man is a genius! Strange, but genius! Sleepy Hollow & Nightmare Before Christmas are two of my favs - along with Frankenweenie! I absolutely adore the jack o'lantern he puts in his movies - I'm going to make a bunch of them this Halloween & put them all over my yard!!!

I have been a fan of his for nearly 20 years. I DO love all of his movies though some more than others. I most enjoy all of the symbolisim he uses through-out his movies...both in dialog as well as with lighting and colors and just about in every way.
Edward Scissorhands is at the top of my list along with, Nightmare before Christmas and Big Fish...but...enjoy everything he's done.

Tim Burton is an interesting filmmaker because his movies are always unique and they always have a particular point of view and it's usually nowhere near the regular point of view.

I agree with the statement about Willy Wonka I thought it wasn't anything great but Nightmare before Chirstmas and Edwards Siccorhands will forever hold a place in my list of favorite movies. I didn't like corpse bride the first time i watched it but i watched it again and again with friends and now i really enjoy it

I haven't seen all of his movies, but the ones that I have seen, I love! He is a little bizarre, but he makes classic "fantasy-like" movies like "Big Fish". My personal favorite would have to be "Edward Scissorhands"! You can't find creativity and originality like that these days!

Personally i think A Nightmare Before CHristmas is the best and my favorite! It holds childhood sentimental value to me, I think he is awesome at what he does! I havent seen corpse bride though, it looks too much like NBC for me, is it good?
