she didnt just kiss him to pin him down to the boat for the sea monster, when she had the compass it pointed right to him and it shows u what u want. they both wanted that kiss and u no it.

she just didnt want the others to no she liked him so she did the right thing and saved the rest but she was miserable afterward.

dont know but that twist on the story was interesting cause when she was holding the compos it was ponting towards jack and then she said something like oh this thing is broken, but when she kissed him it seemed like she only kissed him to save everyone else.
So judging from the compos she likes him and judging from the kiss and what she said after it she only pretended to like him so she could save everyone else

She kissed Jack to ultimately pin him down to the thing he loved, his ship. I Doubt she'd do that to Will.

I think she should stick to where she is and the 1st was so much better, the 2nd had be disappointed at the end not what I expected.
