I don't think you will be able to rent an apartment on your own because you are both minors and cannot enter into a legal contract like that. However, I do think things will work out if that is what you want. You mentioned you have a 1 year old girl. I am going to assume that April is the mother--and I will assume that both of your parents have been helping you two out. Check to see what the law is about marriage, and if you need to seek emancipation in order to become a legal adult so that you can enter into a lease with your girlfriend and children.

The only thing that would get in the way with your relationship would be doubts that either one of you have about whether or not you're going to make it. Keep your communication open, and be honest with each other. She needs support more than ever now. Also, don't be afraid for the two of you to seek counseling for your relationship. Please also make sure she uses her birth control appropriately. Remember that sex is a responsibility, not just a "fun activity", and with your actions come consequences. If you are afraid that her birth control is not going to work (should she miss a pill or something), then insist on using condoms. It is better to be safe than sorry (as you have probably already learned). Good luck to you, and you can contact me at any time if you or April need any advice.

How do you have enough money to rent a 3 bedroom apartment each month being a 15 year old?

You two are very young and odds are, will be very very very rocky relationship with having a one year old, plus another one on the way at your age. That alone is expensive.

So, I recommend if she is pregnant, you two are very serious about this.

Kids raising kids isn't going to work. You two need to really grow up and realize your future is now with kids and settling down.

If you two always has options: abortion, adoption and keeping.

We don't know what will happen to you two. Anything is possible good or bad. However, you two need to start planning and being more careful. If she hasn't refilled her b-control, then you two shouldn't be having sex un protected.

P.S. You two knowingly and willingly had sex to know a pregnancy can occur. It is wrong to use tax paying dollars (Welfare/food stamps) to pay for your own self and kids.

No matter what you decide to do about the apartment, it'll be really important to stay close to family, if they're supportive of you. If they're not, find people who are, preferably people with some life experience. Children are a blessing, but they are also a stress, especially if they are unplanned. No matter when you have kids, it's important to be close to people who can give you good advice on how to raise them and who will listen to you about any other worries you have.

Since you are so young, you two will have to keep lots of communication up about your changing goals and dreams. It may seem hard to think about your educations in the midst of a pregnancy, but it's very important to finish school. Talk, talk, talk. Really. Start now. What are your educational and job goals? How many children do you want total? How do you want to raise the ones you've got? Don't be afraid to get counseling as a couple or individuals if things are rough. There's nothing wrong with needing help. The important thing is to get it.

oh wow... do you have to move out of your parents'? if not i think it would be best to stay with them (if they are supportive) because it is sooooo hard raising kids when you are an adult but as a 15 yo, you guys yourselves are still developing not only physically and emotionally but your beliefs, ideas, and priorities are also being formed. you will be doing alot of changing in all these areas and sometimes that breaks people up but you can get thru it it is just tricky.

i agree with the person who said you may not be able to rent an apartment due to your age... your parents or hers could put it in their name tho.

whatever you do, you guys both need to finish school in some way so that you can have the best financial chances possible later on. i know it may seem like you can't due to the babies... but they have tons of online classes now at colleges so probably they have some ged type classes too.

if you are good with computers, research computer seccurity and teach yourself that. it is a very good career, i speak from experience... good luck

OMG you already have a child....what will happen? more of the same...you should already know, more money, more diapers, more milk, more clothes, more expenses. It would be cheaper if you buy some condoms next time. Good luck

one of u Go to college and work your butt of to get a good job so u have a greeat family.

have your kids go to private school if its too expensice try starting them at public and going to private in like 2 or 3 grade. maybe or be good parents and teach them resposability.

Start them in dance at about5 years old. it is good to start in that to get flexable for sprots when older.

try haveing them try diff fruits and veggies so they have a healthy lifstyle.

by cloths and baby toys ect. from garage sales ect. they will grow out of their cloths in like 4 months so spend 50 cents on them and wash them. u will save money.

teach them manners right away. and when you are playing toys together have them help you clean them up so that when they are older they will clean up messes when they are older.

i think u should stay living with your parents and SAVE the money for
well just save it.

make sure your parents arent doing all the work for your kids. and maybe listen to their advice on kids. they probibly have good tips too. :)

Good luck
