I am tired of hearing people say they are just here to help. Because their not here to help anyone but themselves. I have always tried to be honestly helpful to anyone that needs my help. I believe in what goes around comes around. Am I just a fool to believe that some where out there someone is REALLY HONESTLY trying to do the same thing? Is the world so jaded that even human compassion is dead? When did we loose those days where helping someone was a good thing? We are hateful to the soldiers that are just doing their job. We shun the homless. We scream at child molessters but no one ever tells what they know or suspect. Because it's not our problem. We have hunger in our own country but we don't talk about it. We have conartists that rip people off. The old are shut up and the unwanted youth are to. People want to have what they want but no one wants to HELP anyone any more. Why have we lost that human compassion? What is left without it?

Your comment that people are not here to help others and their only here for themselfs. Who made you the ruler of the world to decide this is the case. I can honestly tell you that i Give money everyday to people in need. I have even put homeless person up in my home for over 6 months to help them. I have given them money and food. But most of all i gave them compasion and you cannot buy that on the supermarket shelves. So please next time you want to make a general statement like that have somthing to back it up. By the way today i spent the day helping at a shelter for abused persons. Hope you aprove of that and dont think that i was so selfish for doing that.

People take advantage of people in general because they are self-centered, self-absorbed and overall selfish. I know it may sound harsh, but it's true.

I, personally agree with what you're saying and choose to live my life by the "golden rule". It's simple. You really can't go wrong. "Treat people as you want to be treated."

I'm a firm believer in karma. I believe everyone eventually gets what they deserve (it's just that most of the time, you're not around to see it happen).

Just like "for every action, there's a reaction", for every evil deed, there will be a consequence.

What's happening is that after someone is wronged enough times, they become jaded and they don't want to trust or help anyone but themselves. Try not to pass judgment on them. It's not our job. Just move on and make sure YOU continue to do the right thing regardless of what's going on around you.

Never let other people's actions dictate the kind of person you're going to be. That is ALWAYS up to you!

So, in conclusion, Do unto others as you'd have done unto you and help someone when you can. Don't become jaded and turn into someone you don't want to be....

Good luck, I hope this helps...

Today is the kind of world that we live, love and learn in. Nobody is perfect...not you or I. I just take one day at a time. People will use you once but people like this I don't allow to do it more then once. You can tell the ones that I am talking about. With me what I usually do is what they did way back when.....you do something for me....I do something for you. It's such an excellent thing. Recipitable exchange. I probably spelled that wrong. Sorry if I did. Should there be more done like this nature instead of worrying about the almighty dollar then this would be a better world to live in. Take care.

I don't know if MOST people know how to do something for others without wanting something for themselves. I have come to realize that there is always another reason for doing things. It has turned into a sad sad world. Honesty seems to be a thing of the past, and that is so sad.

Some do want to take advantage and some don't. Some are here to help and some are not. We have not all lost compassion!
Don't loose yours either! Try not to let those who do evil get you down. There is real honesty and truth in this world. I know God will prevail, not evil! Take heart!
