Do you think people like 80s music because the music was good and original and catchy, or do you think people like it because it brings back memories?

Probably a little of both. I like the 70s myself. I guess I'm an old fart.

Music WAS better in the 80's...but not as good as it was in the 60's and 70's. The music today can't compare with classic rock. It brings back memories, but also, the musicians were just so much more talented and creative and rebellious.

At least there was more variety. But I was a younger fella then and I'm prejudiced towards the 1980s. I thought it was better music.

Someone said that the golden age of hollywood movies was actually the 1980s not the 1930s. I'd agree with that one, anyway.

80s music was great - kickstarted a lot of the crap you hear now. Bands were original then, and didn't rely on sampling from everything to produce their own music.

i love most the music it just scares me because of the videos and all the big hair and bad fashion but i wasn't born in the 80's!
