i heard in da radio n watched in tv bout more ppl being depressed especially in dis season of da year...is it true? why n why not?

well its not that i cant type properly, but i do it on purpose just to type faster, and a lot of people do that.

Who really knows? But if you heard it on "da" radio and on TV didn't you get an answer? Summer for me is more of a depressing season that winter. I try to ignore my feelings, I have a life to live.

true, organic depression is not a seasonal thing. Trouble is that we use the word depression for mood swings, laziness, fatigue, drug and alcohol abuse, hangovers, grief and all kinds of things that have nothing to do with true depression. Only a doctor and a pshycologist in conjuction with your cooperation and truth can diagnose depression. Drug companies that advertise on TV and radio want everyone to buy their stuff.

I have always heard that it was winter time, so I do not know. But I think it is more prone during the winter because of the gloominess, not being able to get out as much as well as the holidays, they tend to make us miss people or think about our lives a little more.

Because there's nothing really to do for some people especially those who are being restricted by their parents. And I am talking about students.
I'm not sure about the adults, because they still do the same thing that they do when it's not summer.

No, this is not traditionally true. Winter is the season with the highest depression stats b/c there is less sunlight and it tends to be cold and bleak.

Who knows? Maybe because school is out and some people are single and dont have anyone to go places with....the heat.......maybe some people arent happy with their bodies so they single themselves out from others when theyre offered to go swimming....no breaks from your kids like the lady above said....I dont know. Research it maybe youll find something interesting

Well--for me it is because my 4 kids are off from school,and always misbehaving,fighting,etc...and this summer has been hotter than hell...I have a RIGHT to be depressed!
