(Sorry, I can't spell!)

I was just wondering. Also, if you are a physicist - would you mind sharing YOUR views on the different dimentions.

Thanks ;-)

OKAY - NOW I FEEL DUMB! I'M SORRY, I'M REALLY TIRED. MAYBE WHAT I SHOULD HAVE ASKED WAS - WHAT DOES A PHYSICIST DO? BUT YOU'VE ANSWERED THAT QUESTION ANYWAY! THANKS ;-)

OH, AND WILL SOMEONE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE SHARE THEIR VEIWS ON THE DIMENTIONS? I FIND IT REALLY INTERESTING!

A physicist is scientist that studies energy, motion, and the structure of the universe both at the large scale and the small.

To me extra dimensions are just degrees of freedom. For example you can move up/down, right/left, or forward/backwards. Also you being a 3 dimensional object can spin in any of three directions.
The dimensions that have physicist exited are things that happen on the really small scale that is not noticeable on the scale we live on.

The word scientist is a general term for a specialist in one of the disciplines of science. The following is a list of some scientists:

1) Chemists 2) Biologist 3) Geologist 4) Paleontologist
5)Archaeologist 6) Physicists

Each of the six disciplines of science are also sub-divided into areas of specialization. For example a biologist may be a specialist in Zoology, entomology, genetics, etc.

A physicist is a type of scientist. That would be like asking what's the difference between a dog and an animal.

I don't want to get into dimensions on here today. I don't have that much motivation today.
But.....to answer the first part. Physicists are scientists, that study the branch of science known as physics. There are other kinds of scientists, though......like
botanists, zoologists, chemists, paleontologists, meteorologists, geologists, etc. Each type of scientists studies a different branch or branches of science.

A Biologist studies Biology
A Chemist... chemisty

Hope this helps.

A physicist is a scientist, but a scientist isn't necessarily a physicist. And there are AT LEAST nine dimensions.
