You should definitely wait until he gets older. Since your son is so young you may not know what kind of effects they would have on him. But the best choice would be not to give him steroids at all not even when he's older because steroids are very very dangerous.

Well if you want him to reach his goal don't give him steroids or he'll be figured out. So just don't do it at all being a MLB player just usually comes natural and with a little practice.

wait, wait, wait. Steroids only destroy dreams and hopes and it destroys ur muscles. if you give them to him at 8 years old his muscles are gonna tear and break away in his senior year. Put him on a diet. weight training when he gets to middle school and work him during the offseason but DONT give him steroids. Do what you want but if you do he'll have a lot of problems

Wait. Let him develop naturally at least through puberty. You never know how much testosterone he will produce on his own.
Until he is through puberty the vitamin S could have some very negative effects on his body.

Wow Barry, it just seems like yesterday he was the bat boy at the World Series. Is he 8 already?

Time sure flies...

Why would you give ANYONE, much less an 8-year-old, steroids. Steroids are to be avoided at all costs!

Child, you should have had that boy on steroids since the baby bottle.

Go for it, although when his equipment stays the size of an eight year old, he might not appreciate it.

why stop there ? make him a lefthanded relief pitcher. teach him how to throw a curve ball and what I used to teach my little league kids; the four finger fast ball
then you can have him sing the national anthem as a natural castrato.
