honestly when they tell u to tumble during your try out u can say I have a round off and a kart whell and i intend on working on that to turn it into more advanced tumbling.

It depends on the high school. If they have a varsity team your trying to make you'll need your back-hand-spring, but if it's just to cheer at games and pep rally's not really cause you may be just a dancer or a base. If you make the team, but if your really nervous about that have one of the other girls help you,or have your Parent or guardian take you to a local gym in your town or close to your town for tumbling sessions. I have been in cheerleading/tumbling sessions before it's really fun just do everything they tell you and follow instructions so you'll improve faster instead of hesitating and getting your back-hand-spring slower.

It depends on the squad and how high their standards are.
