I'm not bragging or anything, just have some observations... with the help of the internet, it allows people to match themselves up with other people (many many more people) and then pass judgement on where they stand in society... for example, in highschool I knew I already knew that I was more intelligent than the majority (not the smartest ever or anything). Now with the internet, it makes it a lot easier to see that I'm better than even more people...

Thank you and please don't hate

I keep it so real that sometimes people take me as being an a**hole... but hey, that's how you get the real results you want... ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer... ask a real question, get a real answer

I definitely notice that the average intelligence on this site seems to be lacking. I just sincerely hope that it is not a reflection on society in general.

Everyone makes the occasional spelling and grammatical mistakes, but some people on this forum can't even form a logical thought.

It increases my self esteem, but scares the hell out of me at the same time. These people and their children will be running the country when I get old. YIKES!

No.

Y! Answers is not a place for stroking and tending to your ego. I suggest you go look else where for that.

The internet makes it a lot easier to see that you're better than more people? No **** sherlock. The number of people who go on the internet>>>>>>>the number of people who live in w/e city you live in. Thus, it is only logical that you will find others less...intellectually gifted as yourself.

As for myself, no. My ego has not been enlarged by Y! Answers at all. I don't find comparing myself with ignorant people and seeing how much "better" I am than them rewarding.

No, my self-esteem is not based on anyone other than myself. I do not use others as a barometer for my own life.

However, the site has flabbergasted me with the high ratio of ignorance that exists among the population.

Yes, but it also made me realize how ignorant I am about what is going on in the world.

Yeah, but judging by how everyone attacks each other, I think everyone feels like they are smarter than everyone else.
