When i push the power button, my toshiba displays windows xp could not boot up because ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt.
The windows xp on my laptop is oem and a windows recovery CD was not given to me at the time of purchase.
My laptop does not have a floppy drive.
How do i fix the ntoskrnl.exe without the windows recovery cd or a floppy?
My laptop is a Toshiba M45 S269
intel centrino 1.73 GHZ
512 mb ram
100GB hd
DVD-RW drive
Windows XP sp2

Mine comes with recovery CD. I think you should talk to the place where you purchased the laptop and ask to see if they have a CD for you.
