Well.. Perform following steps to see status of your hard drive

Right click on my computer
click manage

It will open Computer Management Console. There you can select storage and under that "Disk Management"

Here you can see the status of your hard disk.

=====================================

If you can't see your hard disk here then do this....

Restart your PC...

While booting up.... Keep pressing delete. This will enter into setup screen.

Well I don't know which motherboard you are using but you have to look up for these

1. Primary Master
2. Primary Slave
3. Secondary Master
4. Secondary Slave

Just see whether your hard disk is here or not.

If not then try getting it. And if its not coming.... then you have made some mistaking in connecting hard drive

====================================

If above steps fails, then check the connection and JUMPER settings of your hard disk. They should be proper for detection of hard disk.

And if these all doesn't help then there is something wrong with Motherboard or its accessories

Let me know if you still face any problems

Till then See ya... :)

Cheers

You have to set it up in your bios again, or run disk check over your missing harddrive
next time you may like to put some more specs down like OS version

So is it physically not there, or is it there (physically) only your computer isn't recognizing it? Maybe someone stole it.
