Mine seems to get really weird around 2 and a half years and then we split up?

Are you serious??? Both of my longest two relationships (also the first two) ended at almost exactly 2 1/2 years. Since then I have only had short fleeting relationships that didn't go anywhere.
My first gf and I were happily in love, until we realized around the 2-year mark that my idea of the perfect future was her idea of a nightmare, and vice versa. Then, it just got ugly and we split up.
My second gf seemed like a perfect match for me; our ideas of how the future should be were much more compatible. We were also happily in love for a time, but then things just got really complicated. It would take me volumes to explain everything that happened, but "got really weird" is a good way to put it.
