I had lost about 20 lbs (my doc said I had PCOS too, but no ultrasound of the ovaries confirmed it), and once I lost the weight I ended up pregnant. I would wait before taking any fertility treatment....at least until you lose about 20 lbs. I am still about 20-25 lbs over my ideal weight, but I am also pregnant with my second child. Good luck to you, and I hope everything works out!!

I would lose the weight first. You'd be surprised how a little weight loss can snap your cycle back to regular. Try Weight Watchers, it's great. Good luck!

Definitely lose the weight first. Pregnancy is unpredictable and so is the amount of weight you will gain. You will be healthier and so will your baby. I don't know what those medications are that you named. Are they for weight loss or to help conceive?

Even if you are trying to get pregnant, you should definitely try to get in shape. Pregnancy is hard on your body. Strenghten your legs and lower body especially to prepare you for carrying the extra weight.
I don't know anything about the drugs, sorry.

ok, i will answer this question...i want to tell you that i have spent my entire life worrying about my apperance and weight...dont put your kid through that...i mean, if you want to get pregnant now...then ask God to send you a child. remember, it is not the amount of medicine that heals, it is the amount of prayer that heals. your weight shouldnt matter on getting pregnant. or any other thing. we only have one life on this earth, make the best of it, cause you never know when your time is up.

lose the weight not only for health issues, but your already not your ideal weight and having a baby is only going to worsen that and make it harder for you to get down to your ideal weight
